Weather/Seasons
1.It's raining in Chinatown, yet it's snowing in University of Washington.
2.I'm go shopping with my friend, although it's raining right now.
3.In summer I eat dinner at daytime, because of Seattle has daytime until 10pm.
4.Even though Seattle always raining, people don't like bring umbrella when they go out.
5.Snow day not only cold, but also can't go out.

7.I hate rainy day, yet I can sleep well at home.
8.The weather is neither hot nor cold in winter in Hawaii.
9.I will stay home whatever it's rainy day or sunny day on weekend.

About My Friend
In Seattle, I met many people before. Last quarter, I have met Duri in Reading class. I felt very happy when I talked with her because she is a funny girl. Then, we became good friends.
She always talk about her family's funny story and her gruesome story. She made me laugh and astounded as well. She not only very funny, but also very kind. She always help me when I have some problem, like some questions about homework, when I in a bad mood, and something about lifestyle. she like playing tennis, truly a tennis hot fan. Last quarter, we went home by same bus, therefore, we went home together all the time. But now, I moved to Chinatown, we didn't get together for a long time.
In addition, we also haven't connected each other for a long time, yet she still on my mind. I promised her I will cook for her, it will be come true later.

About Myself.
Hi, my name is Nicola, and my last name is Zhan. I'm from China. I'm international student studying ESL at South Seattle Community College.
I have been Seattle for 10 months. I like this city, but I hate the weather. I studied at university in Shanghai for 2 years, then I chose come to Seattle. When I ready for came to Seattle, I felt very scared, because I never leave my country before. But now, I habit of my life in Seattle. I'm so glad I came here, otherwise I would missed many good friends.
I like shopping with my friends or online, it can make me very happy. I also like cooking, I'm good at cooking Chinese food. I like sweet food, but I can't eat them too much, they'll make me fat.
My English is poor, I really want it can be good, and I'll work hard for it, bless me.
